There will be a lottery to choose who will receive an FI from those interested. Those not receiving FI are welcome to observe the full day of five FI lessons + discussion for a suggested $50-$75. If you are chosen to receive an FI, your fee for the entire day is $200, including observation of the other FI lessons.

About the training:

Do we stand on the floor, or do we stand and find support up and through ourselves? Do you look from above and see the outside of yourself? Or do you look from within? What do you illuminate with your attention? As practitioners, how can we be more precise with our attention, acting from the inside out?

These are the kinds of questions we will engage with as we move our attention to a more internal sense. The lessons in this training will invoke a nice surprise for how you connect yourself into life and you can support your students to do the same.

Concepts will include understanding the value of our support from the ground up, organizing the central axis, and supporting a person’s head. For those who have not attended Jeff’s past advanced trainings in Minnesota, this material can stand on its own. Jeff is known for his ability to hold the space for everyone in the room. With his depth of knowledge, he has so much to offer everyone, no matter your current stage of learning and practicing.

Illuminating! Jeff’s laser-like focus on using the support surface to generate action is an inspiring and direct connection to the martial arts ingredients of the Feldenkrais Method. Through his clarity I found potent new understandings about tonic adjustment, proportional tone, reversibility, and much more. Jeff’s personal work and passion to drill down to the essence of our most basic principles, embody them, and transmit them to others with kindness and maturity is profoundly inspiring.
