Expect the same beloved Yoga + Feldenkrais blend, with an intentional emphasis on functional strength. Over this 8-week series, we’ll incorporate targeted muscle engagement into our progressions and sequences, helping you build practical power and stability while maintaining deep, mindful awareness.

Students who have made this format their regular ritual call it their "weekly maintenance practice" and "meditation and movement combined."

Students can join anytime during the series, with the option to catch up with the recordings.

ORGANIZING THE HEAD AND NECK - FELDENKRAIS®

An 8 week Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement Series
September 20th - November 11th, 2026
Sundays 4pm CST/Wednesdays 6:30pm CST
Live classes will be taught on zoom*

Our Fall Feldenkrais course Organizing the Head and Neck will explore a less common approach to chronic neck and shoulder pain—one that focuses on how your head and neck are supported from below, by your spine, pelvis, and feet, rather than forcing "good posture".

In this gentle series, we will work with how your head can feel effortlessly suspended from above while building natural, solid support beneath you. Instead of fighting your body or trying too hard to hold yourself up, you’ll learn small, comfortable movements designed to melt away chronic tightness, helping you feel lighter, better supported, and more comfortable in your daily life.

Registration is now open.

IN-PERSON YOGA + FELDENKRAIS SERIES

September 17th - November 5th, 2026
Thursdays 10:00am – 11:10am
Olivet Congregational Church

In this blended format, Sarah blends a more traditional gentle yoga practice with the novel Feldenkrais® awareness practices. But that’s not all, she incorporates joint specific training, functional range exercises, self-massage, breathing exercises, and a compassionate non-competitive mindset. You will train your sensitivity in such a way that you find yourself feeling more alive, vibrant and spacious.

Completely low-tech and in-person right in the heart of the Twin Cities. The Breathing Place is a charming, non pretentious, warm little studio in the basement of Olivet Congregational Church. The space allows for a small intimate group so you can get the most out of every session. With a limited number of spots, there is plenty of room for individual attention, detailed feedback and support that simply isn't possible in an online setting.

This course has reached capacity.
Please email Sarah for drop in options, or to get on the waitlist for the next series.
